Founders and Foundations

The Congregation of Our Lady of the Retreat in the Cenacle began in 1826 in the small French village of La Louvesc among a people whose faith had been deeply disturbed by the Revolution. Read more

Cenacle Spirituality

As a Cenacle Family we are inspired by and associate ourselves with all those who gathered in the ‘upper room’ during those critical days before and after the passion and resurrection of Christ. Read more

On the 26th September 2011, the 5 countries of England, Ireland, France, Togo and Italy became one Province, the province of Europe-Togo. Read more
